@mav2000- yes, the sliding mechanism is moved, made some problems to combine it with the Lian Li Tray...

I didn't do the mod yet. I disassembled the whole case once to look it over. It would be possible to use most of the original cross bars, the chassis is nearly symmetric (need to drill a couple holes). The top horizontal bar would need to be re-made. Probably aluminum L bar would do it.

I hope to do the mod in the next month. You just gave me some motivation : )

Why do you have to remade the top bar? And dont forget to post many pic`s

It could also be modified, I think the more professional look would be to remake it however. I am going to explore more options when I actually dig into the project. I am also likely going to be moving the entire motherboard tray towards the roof to immitate TJ07.

There will be a lot of pictures, probably a log.

Moving the Tray towards the Top is a great Idea, I´ve tryed to do the same:

Black side panel is back in stock - http://cmstore.coolermaster-usa.com/...roducts_id=400

The left and right panels are not identical. The locking tabs that slot into the top of the case are only folded out on one side of the panel. You can still mount it on either side still... it just won't lock in. Look at one of your side panels to notice this.

was wondering if this is normal. ? my atcs 840 silver is slightly off where the front panel top meets the front of the control panel. is it suppose to be completely flush and even with each side of the case? mine is off a couple mm each side. or am i just being anal about it?
thx

I can confirm that you are just being anal about it!

It is as designed: the top plate with the front connections is larger than the case itself.
= It is NOT supposed to be flush with the sides! it is supposed to "hang over" the sides.
