I don't know why CM didn't include 3 pairs of those fan brackets to accommodate the thought of replacing the front fan. Anyway the ATCS 840 airflow is a little tricky so your best bet would be to experiment. Some people like to change fan directions and not add too many fans to the case. While people like me just go all out with best and maximum number of fans the case can allow...

My plan is simple. Front and Bottom intaking. Rear and Top exhausting. I'll be adding one 120mm Hard Disk Bay fan in the near future and maybe even the air duct in the rear of the case. I think that two 120mm fan spinning, in case of need, more than two times faster than two 230mm stock fan will do the work. In any case I really can't stand stock fans.

I was able to get my temps down by about 10 degrees (C) by switching my Antec Liquid Cooler to intake (as a push-pull that replaces the rear fan); having the front and bottom as intakes again; and the two top ones as exhausts.

My hand feels cool when it's inside the case and the positive pressure makes the air exit naturally through the top.

I'm not planning any liquid cooling in the future, I don't know anything about it. At this point I only have to decide whether the Scythe Kama Flow 2 1900 RPM or Noctua NF-P12 1300 RPM represent the best compromise between DB and CFM.

Cannot seem to find Scythe Gentle Typhoon at a reasonable price in my city...

Scythe GentleTyphoons are not readily available in Europe.
The only internetshop in Germany shipping to Italy is Amazon.de.
When you click on the 6 shops offering new: the first one offers shipping to Italy for €6.
Plus €15 for the fan.........

For 120 fans the Enermax Apollish Vegas Series should be an option.
Enermax Apollish Vegas blue, red, green, silver 120x120x25mm, 800-2000rpm, 56.51-143.72m³/h, 16dB(A)

To replace the front fan, I would opt for a 140mm fan! such as the
4pin PWM Xigmatek XAF-F1451, 140x140x25mm, 800-1300rpm, 152.61m³/h, 18dB(A)
or the 3pin Prolimatech Red or Blue Vortex 14, 140x140x25mm, 1000rpm, 147.03m³/h, 18.1dB(A)

Dont get the Vegas fans, they are very loud at full speed, the frame is weak and you need the included fan controller to switch the Leds wich is inpractical.

I switched my Apolish vegas for two Gentle typhoons 1850, gave me more airflow with less dba.

No led fans or neon tubes in my case, no way...anyway I didn't know a 140mm fan would fit in the front without any modding...might be giving some thought...anyway I think I'll be sticking on Scythe...
