use 1-1.5 mm alu and use some dampening foam or sheets...maybe that will help.

Welcome to the club Rafael!
Have you already submitted a photo so that you can be added to the owners list?

1.5mm aluminium is considered a good compromise between cutting and stiffness; and availability.

The larger the piece is the more you will find that it needs stiffening. This can be eaasily done by backing it with a 2-3mm strip, or a 1-2,5mm corner. The corner comes in handy as a mounting aid.

Thanks everyone!
I own this case since october 2009 and follow this thread since then.

At the moment the case is empty, as a plan do to some modifications on it (already started a inverted mod on it), but I think I have some old pics of it. I will post them ASAP.

I think I will use 1mm to do the new psu bracket (to match with the motherboard tray thickness) and 1,5mm do to the internal panels.

Here is my updated Core i7 rig where i have used a old Coolermaster ATC-110-SX1 which i bought 9 years ago and it hasn'ty been used.

To modernize it i have made a window in the sidepanel to be able to fit the Noctua NH-D14 S2011 cooler, i'm loving this case.

I like it, its simple and classic design are what I most admire in pc cases and the window mod you made is very well done.thumb.gif

You mean the 120mm fan adapter which can be used to mount radiators??

Check in the CM shop. If they don't have them, write support. Sometimes they are willing to scrounge some up from a returned case.
