Yes the mind spins with possibilities. I sometimes go to a scrap yard where I can get really heavier gauge and dimension aluminum angles, bars, channels as well as plate. Not always easy to get exactly quantities of what you want.
Some of the nicest larger and heavier casters are made for rolling scaffolding (painters, electricians, plumbers often use them in commercial buildings). Non marring rubber on the wheels for hard floors but large enough diameter to roll nicely on carpeted floors.
I will take pics but this is a future project. First I have to decide between two rooms. Then have to run at least three new 15amp circuits to the room (two for computer system and better lighting, one for room a/c). Then have to break those circuits into distributed electrical outlet boxes... maybe Plugmold(tm). Then run high performance coax there for the modem straight from the house entry (not shared with TV).
