You will probley pry of the toolless disign bunch buttons and then line up the scythe kama bay and then use the screws that where hopefully provided with the kama bay.

Fedex is right. I had to take off the case button tooless mount then screw the KAMA bayt in. Then I just slid the button back over on top of it. You can actually see the screws with the button in place. The screws are just a little too large to put on with the button in pkace. It works great also. I did remove mine in the end though, it really contributed to invcreased noise. I have a few mods on mine, and the temps from when i had the kama bay isnt any better than what it is currently.

Hmm i am thinking about replacing all the fans in the comp with some gentle typhoons for the case fans and 2 ultra kazes on the mugen 2. These blue lights and the fan controller is getting really annoying at night when trying to watch tv and all you see is LIGHTS

I find cable management comes out much nicer with a top mounted PSU.

Before.

After.

The modular 6-pin PCI-E cables aren't as long as I like, I couldn't hide the one going down to my 9800GT. Oh well. Now I'll have two 120mm bottom intakes, once my four extra Cooler Master R4 blue LED fans arrive today.

Thats interesting, did you have to remove one of the top exhoust fans? How is the airflow and temps before and after this change? /actually dont answer, unlil you dont have your 120mm bottom fans mounted /

By looking at your picture though, i have to agree that it looks a bit better.

Both 230mm top fans are gone. I added a 120mm on top. On or off it doesn't make a difference

Dual 120mm intakes on the bottom.

All temps are unaffected, except for my 9800GT (bottom video card), which went down a few degrees. As I expected, I did this for the GPUs. I still have to buy this so I can point the normal bottom fan at the video cards.

http://cmstore.coolermaster-usa.com/...roducts_id=170

So all nine 120mm fans on my ATCS 840 are 2000 RPM/90 CFM/23 DBA Cooler Master R4 fans (well, official specs). I have two Scythe Slipstream 1900 RPM/110 CFM/37 DBA fans on my Prolimatech Megahalems. My new PSU (Antec TruePower New 750W) has a PWM 120mm fan, and under load it is audible over all of the other fans in the case. LOL.

You'll have to modify it, there isn't any way to mount that in the ATCS without breaking out some tools.

Anyway, looking at what you did with the fans and the power supply, that's a nice setup (except the Slipstreams, ANY single 38mm thick fan is better on a heatsink...). The only disadvantage that continues to nag me with putting power supplies at the top is weight distribution. It's always been significantly easier for me to haul around a case where the PSU is at the bottom than one with the PSU in the top.

I thought I'd have to mod it, no worries, I plan on drilling holes on the case anyway. That would be on the motherboard tray (below the currently existing cut out) and in the HDD cage (for two more 120mm fans).

Thanks for the input on the fans, I'm considering ditching the Slipstreams for two Delta 190 CFM fans (4000 RPM/59 CFM, lol), but I'm want to see how long my Slipstreams will last before they die. What you say about weight distribution is correct, but I don't haul this mama around, she's too big. I'm gonna get some casters

2 Deltas is overkill, really (and in the case of Deltas, overkill returns a minimal advantage). Just one is more than enough, though I really would not wait for those Slipstreams to die off. If you just let it happen and THEN order the Delta(s), you'll have to wait for them while your Megatron-thing-whatever sits there with no fan.
