Quick Question... How do I get better airflow in this thing? I have read to mount the PSU on top and remove the top fans and have 2 120's on the bottom... Is there anyplace that could do a custom side panel with like 1 230 in it or some combination of 120's? Just wanting to have some more intake... Thanks for the help guys!

I want to replace my fans with Gentle typhoons, but if I cant even remove it then I wont bother.

Edit: Now it pulled out fine :S but I cant put it all the way back on it stops 2mm before its complely in place. But not like it matters though
I'm curious if you're talking about the top black mesh that should be easily removed by removing the two top thumb screws in the back of the case

Your best bet is modding the side panel if you want to increase the amount of intake for the case. That's if adding the extra 3x 120mm (4x if mounting PSU at the top) is not doing enough for you which i my opinion should be enough with the right fans (1x bottom of case and 2x behind the hard drive cage). Adding the extra back 120mm fan exhaust also helps a lot when cooling your GPU(s). Just be very careful when modding the side panel since its pretty thin.

Yep, agree with what pvp309rcp has to say - remove the top two 230mm fans, and replace them with 3 120mms. I've also positioned mine so that they're now intakes (big improvement) - bear in mind the lack of a top filter however (hence why I'm using panty hose ....) As for the modded side panel, that's something I've always wanted to see (would result in Haf 932 like temps).

What about these for bottom intake fans if I move my PSU to the top of my case? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-065-_-Product Is there any high speed LED fans out there?

Those are both great options for case fans; use S-Flexes if you don't care that they don't have LEDs, or Yates if you want LEDs.

Also, you can just edit your posts instead of double posting.

Dang It!!! I ordered the High Speed Yate Loons from FrozenCPU and they called up today and said they are all out of them... they asked if I wanted the low/medium ones and I politely responded that I would wait for the others to come in. My paypal has already been charged so I might as well wait meh

having a tough time on a decision guys, think you all could help me out? I can get the ATCS 840 for $279 from Frozencpu.com with a side window and a couple UV lights. On the other hand, for $308, I can get a Corsair Obsidian 800D with the same UV's. Im just looking for some suggestions on which would suit me better. I will have air cooling for a month or two then i plan on upgrading to some form of watercooling, probably Koolance. Much appreciated!

Welcome to the forum! Add your system specs by going to the User CP link at the top, and on the left click Add System and take it from there.

Now then, for water cooling, Koolance is overrated, really, but we'll save that for when you get to ordering; as for the case, it depends on what else you're going to have in it. Right now for what you want the ATCS option is perfect, though the Obsidian has the hot-swap bays and the pre-painted interior (and amazing cable management, though the mobo tray is fixed)... if you want those, you'll have to stick to the Obsidian. Otherwise stick to the ATCS.

Thanks alot! To me, the interior isnt that big of a deal. I may powder coat the inside of the ATCS 840 but im really undecided. I know the air flow of the obsidian isnt really that great but the hot swap is nice. By the way, does the 840 have vibration problems like this HAF 932 i have here.....
