Thanks, good luck on yours as well! You're going to do it to the window panel, right?

i had in mind to cut the stock panel and make a window in it with a fan. Currently im busy with a new computer for a contest so im not working on this rig. If im going to mod it it'll have a blue 200mm Coolermaster fan at least

For me it reduced the temps of my GPU by about 5C and surprisingly my CPU temps by 2C as well.

hello guys, wanted to ask if these cooler master fans will be a good alternative for the two 230mm on top and the 230mm in front...
will those red led's fit and perform better than the stock 230mm ones?

Those are sleeve bearing. Sleeve bearings aren't recommended for horizontal use since they weren't designed for it and will die faster in that usage.

I really love my ATCS 840 but I don't love the 230mm fans. They're too loud for my taste, the problem is, it's really hard to find a good horizontal fan.

I have a GentleTyphoon on the bottom right now next to the power supply and it didn't feel like it was pushing much air at all. Which is strange since it's a fluid bearing and shouldn't have any problems. Yarg.

On the plus side, the ATCS 840 actually lowered my load temps by 3C versus my OPEN AIR setup! I was shocked to see that and quite pleased

edit: Oh yeah I should mention that I flipped my exhaust fan around so it's intaking directly into the push fan on my Venomous X. And the pull fan is hopefully releasing the hot air where it's being sucked up by the top fans. So far it's been working wonderfully.

That's actually quite a good idea... did your temps drop a lot by doing that?

I have no clue, I never set it up the other way. I'll try it out sometime later and report back to HQ. Right now I've got some serious tinkering aka overclocking to do!
