Well I decided to spend some money this week and my 840 will be getting a P55 moving in shortly. Just waiting on my RAM to get here.

So I will be taking my current rig out and doing some work. Try to make my P55 stuff look good.

Highly impressive specs (bravo!) but I'm not a fan of the paint job; I love red/black color schemes, but I dislike when entire drive bays are used as accent pieces.. Just a personal taste thing.

But great work!

I really can't wait for the full-res images. That looks seriously awesome, and so do the specs.

i have switched the megahalems. now the 2 nanoxia fx12 1250rpm blow to the two 230mm top fans.

i have the phenom 965 c3 3400mhz and 1,4v. ambient is 22°C the temperatures are now:

2 hours prime95 maximum heat + furmark:
cpu: 53
core 1-4: 51

only prime 95 maximum heat and no furmark:
cpu: 50
core 1-4: 47

are the temps ok? the temps are a bit higher when i turn on the fan on the back. yesterday, i had the problem, that the temps were higher when i turn on the two 230mm fans, the megahalems was blowing to the back. then i switched the megahalems 90°. now i can turn on the top fans, but when i turn on the back fan, then the temps are a bit higher. should i switch the back fan, so that the back fan blows in the case?

Finally got around to finishing the paint job on my case. It's just spray paint, but I did the whole nine yards (high-quality expensive autobody paint, self-etching primer, dissembled the whole thing, sanded/scrubbed every part clean, 4 coats of primer, 3 coats of paint, etc). I decided to go with Satin black. I just need to wait for the parts to dry and I can begin reassembly. Sadly I still need to do the motherboard tray, it has been left untouched paint-wise (been modding it, added another elongated hole for SATA cables / PCI-e cables). Thinking of adding a hole on the bottom too for fpanel / USB connectors.

I've also sleeved all my cables (PCI-e, SATA, 8 pin, 24 pin) with murder mod sleeving. She's gonna look sleek when she's all put together
