Quick question.. to officially join this club, do you just have to hit 4.0ghz+, or do you have to actually stress test it as well? I see all of the CPU-Z validations, but I don't see any kind of stress testing validation.

I've had my system easily boot at much higher than 4.0Ghz, but it was unstable after stress testing. I guess I'm just curious if all it takes to join the club is to be able to boot the system long enough to take a CPU-Z screenshot, or if you really need to have a stable (tested) overclock?

In either case, my system is running smoothly at 4.0Ghz now, and has passed the prime95 - 24 Hour Blend test.. so I guess I'm definitely in the club!

I'm at work so can't get the official "proof" that is posted throughout this thread. I do have this for now however:

I shut off prime95 a second before taking that screenshot, so my temps hadn't had a chance to drop to idle fully. My idle temps are usually 38c - 43c per core.. not what that pic is showing now.

When I took this thread over from Acroma, he told me that as long as CPU-Z can validate your system running at 4GHz or above then you're in.

I've already reserved a spot for you on the spreadsheet. Please post the URL for that CPU-Z validation ASAP after you get home.

Edit: Well, now we officially have over 400 members! Please keep them coming folks.
