I'm already on here for my 4.6 run, but just wanted to update that I'm prime stable at 4Ghz @ 1.27V, I love this chip.

you should, damn i can't get mine stable @4ghz without running the vcore up to 1.41.. Any other settings or voltages you tweaked in order to allow such low vcore or just got a good chip.

this one took around 1.6v. I don't remember what voltage that one was done on.
if it wouldnt be to much issue could you let me know what the rest of your voltages are?

buddy of mine has a 965 @ 4.0 [145x28] and im trying to get him to push it to 5.0, but he is having alot of stability issues over 4ghz, hence im wondering what voltages you are using.

im of no help to him, since while ive been overclocking for years, i dont have alot of experience with intel recently [well until like... literally 2 days ago when i whent Q9550] and the i7's are a bit more confusing then the 775 chips

Not too far from stock for everything, I think it's just a good chip.

Are you suggesting that one because you have it? I mean is it really the best for that range? Can it reach a bclck of 200MHz, cause that is pretty much what I am looking for you know. I think this gigabyte is a bit weak and I am not much liking it compared to my UD3P. I am thinking about the UD5 but is a bit out of budget... can I get some more input please. I know that gaming performance is not much affected regardless of the MB I choose but I really just want a 200MHz board.

I'ts the step up you should be looking at. the EVGA Classified comes out soon enough. and it will let you OC the crapola out of anything.

The basic evga x58 tr is a good one for that range. Granted, I do not like it more than my bloodrage, but what can I do? No bloodrage.

Well Newegg will not refund me the cash only exchange for the same board. They said that if I have issues again then they will send a refund. I can see it now the new MB for some reason just won't post hmmm what could be wrong LOL.
