I use everest and speed fan. The chip is at stock speed, do you think it is still incorrect reading?

I just put a more powerful fan on it but it's only running at 685rpm's and my temps are 39 degrees.

Hey guys when looking at everest, what is the real temperature of my cpu is it Core 0 ? Core 1 ? because core 0 is 25 degrees where as core 1 is 35 degrees idle. are those ok temps or are they too high? My 2500 rpm fan is only spinning at 600rpm even during prime 95 runs, I just might hook it up to my fan controller of use SpeedFan

Always try to refer to load temps. Idle temps tend to be non-accurate, since the sensor is not so sensitive below 50C. There are differences between cores, just look at hotest one.

The temperatures of your cpu are Core 0, Core 1, Core 2, and Core 3. Just monitor all of them. 35C is pretty freezing for a i7 core, let alone 25C. Mine idles at 42-46C.

so between core 0,1,2,3,4. I should look at the hottest one and that is my real temp?

- I though core 0 is the real temp or at least core 1 since those are the hottest
