Good results so far Ira... I have faith.. 'the force is strong in you'

** As for your Microns.. give em a round in the freezer before RMA.. if that dont work, last ditch effort is a re-cook in the oven @ 400F for ~7-10minutes.. ram sinks an all..

^^^ Brought back 2x sets of double sided GMH Ballistix for me..single sided Team and Ballistix were a no-go though.. oh well 50/50 revival on "dead" hardware aint bad.

Thanks CL, I'd forgot about cooking them, they've already been froze, freezing works on HDD's sometimes to, at least long enough to get your files off them.

My Team 1300 are single sided, so they are probably ProMos. I hated to see those go, they've been my old reliables for a while now.

I wish there was something decent for DDR2 besides D9's, but there really isn't. Its getting harder and harder to find good ones to. ProMos just don't run tight enough for SPI, or at least I cant get them to.

Yeah I'm looking forward to dice'ing this chip now, kind of surprised me I could work it up to 4200 so easy on water. Hope its not topped at that, but I have a good feeling I can at least hit 4.6 on it, I hope....

@ Ira- if you want some cheaper 'high binned' El's, look @ : Geil PC8500 Black Dragons ..very cheap and stable even at 5-5-4-12 @ 1200mhz .. was only ~60$ for the 4x1 kit... this way, if I 'blow up' 2x1 in testing..I still have extra for more runs.

*the promos is crazy with the speeds though..specially that Team.. those 512mb sticks..or 1GB's..?

Does PCT = Personal Computer Team team?

I couldn't think of anything else that works with those 3 letters
