Nothing about this game really excites me.
Ya it really doesn't excite like the others have. I am excited and have been awaiting a Shogun remake since years before they announced it yet the gameplay that I have seen seems like they are going the way of Civ 5. Accessibility is more important than the customers who have bought their games for the past 6 years and enjoyed the games for what they are. Fair enough, I won't be buying this one. I will never buy another Cid Meier game after Civ 5 as well. You want to make a game for the masses for profit alone? Fair enough, count me out. Good luck, I'm sure you will do well.

I know your question wasn't directed at me but being a Total War veteran I will say... I absolutely loved it. Flanking, "the line", and tactics have never been more important.
The cavalry was simply stunning. There was never another time in history were cavalry was more important.
(I'm sorry for the word "important", I just can't think of the correct word, I'm having a major brain fart.)Edited by Segovax - 3/10/11 at 7:21pm
