The antec 650w in your list is a solid psu but the price is abit expensive. You don't need a 650w psu but if you do, the Corsair 650tx is a good buy. For the GPU, at that price, you can have a 9600GSO.

Great thanks, I'll put the drivers on a CD.

As far as my previous question about the CPU heatsink fitting, I found this on the last page of the review of the case:

Quote:
While it isn’t a giant case it is wide enough to accommodate even the biggest CPU heatsinks we could throw at it. We also absolutely love the removable hard drive cages, and power/reset switches on the top of the case.

See post 24, I think I should be good. They tried out the Tower whatever cooler and it fit so I should be ok.

I already have the PSU, I've been using it in my system for some time now. I got a good deal on it when I bought it a few months ago, there was a rebate or something I forget.

the antec 900 is a realy good case but make sure when setting up the fans think about the airflow because it is designed in a certaion way for amazing coolin but having a fan on the side can effect the airflow and can make the case hotter iv tested this and the only way round it is water cooling and air cooling combination

I will post pictures once I get it up and running. Click the title of each component for a link to the product.

Core components:

- Intel C2D E8500 o/c to ~4.26gHz using toMsons1987's settings (hoping to get same speed and stability)
- GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P motherboard
- Corsair Dominator 4GB PC8500 DDR2-1066 (thinking about using the $40 rebate card towards another 4GB)
- Antec Truepower Trio 650w Power Supply
- ATi Radeon 3870 HD 512MB PCI-E video card
- Two 500GB Hitachi Deskstar P7K500 7200 RPM hard drives running in RAID 0

Case:

- Antec 900 Gaming Case, Black Steel

Cooling:

- 200mm case fan, top mounted
- (2) 120mm case fan, front mounted
- (1) 120mm case fan, side mounted
- (1) 120mm case fan, rear mounted
- Xigmatek Dark Knight 120mm CPU cooler
- Metal heatsink for hard drives (not sure if it will fit in case yet)
- Corsair Dominator Airflow (three fan cooler that comes with Corsair Dominator RAM)
- Arctic Silver 5 thermal compound for CPU

Software:

- Windows Vista x64 Ultimate (possibly dual boot with Ubuntu Linux, Beryl desktop, and Wine)
the ati 3870 is a good card i've had mine not too long now and i've overclocked it by abit and the performance is amazing it can play crysis so smooth on high and the temps are low for how much i've overclocked it

Can't you just point the fan outwards to suck more air out? I'm not doing water cooling.

Aren't your two front fans blowing in? So would you just leave the side fan slot with nothing there? Or should I cut a hole somewhere and make another fan to suck air in?
