Thanks guys. I hit the sack at 4 am so I just now wobbling around. It was an interesting time...not sure where it will lead but as you can see there are some things you can do with wood that might not work so well with plastic.
I have no interest in working aluminum...different tools...different mess.
I always wonder why it is no matter what I post up someone always asks: "But could you make it out of
X?

When I was making the aluminum stations I got a number of requests for acrylic , more shiney plastic please. So I made some and everyone seemed to think they cost too much and preferred to spend their loot on Danger Den Torture Racks. So I made some PVC stations (cheaper materials and less labor)and got requests for wood. So I make a wood one and I get a request for aluminum.
It was only funny the first time...sort of. Out of all these many iterations I have only sold
one of these as a comissioned piece: the
Kennymeister (still waiting on my
Mod of the Month Sig-bit BTW). I've given away more stations than I have sold....
I could make it out of butter and someone would post...but could you use margarine? You guys crack me up. At least I know I don't need to make more than one of them.
Bottom line is you should know by now that if there is a material that can be cut, screwed or glued I can build from it...so rather than me chasing the unicorn at the end of the rainbow I'll just leave it at this: if you want something built with true attention to detail and 3 decades of experience I'm available.
Thanks again for the interest andinput
