Wood Techstation: Joinery Fun - Page 5

Nice design, that looks great! Do you plan to offer any special services like beveled edges etc? What a stellar job, I have a custom bass guitar that was built from Honduras mahogany which would look great beside a matching tech station.

Just about anything you can imagine I can probably do...

I'm still planning the hardwood station. I want to make it more like a piece of furniture.

That looks awesome. I am going to Home Depot tomorrow to buy my wood. Luckily, my dad is paying for the wood! Hopefully mine can turn out good like yours, although mine is more of a desktop case compared to the basic techstation.

An elegant mahogany conversation piece with a loudly colored motherboard/gpu sticking out of the top.

Or go the IBM way, make everything out of varying colors of grey plastic.

I only leave my mountain to buy ammo and propane or to haul the trash.

Not sure what the hardwood TS will look like but I have some ideas about certain subsections of it. I've got an idea for a wood HDD caddy made from dowels or octagon pins, I kind of know how I want to mount the opticals. But overall it's one opf those things I tumble around in my head until it miraculously comes together as I am building...
