Help, Trying to get my XBOX 360 Controller to work on COD5 for the PC

As the title says, I am trying to get my xbox 360 controller to work on my PC when playing COD5.
First off, i don't see gamepad support in the in game menu at all. Does anyone have a idea on how to get game pad support for this game? I know The mouse and keyboard is far better for playing FPS's, But I also like to be able to sit back from my 24 inch LCD and relax and kick some ass too.
Has anybody else had the urge to play COD5 on the PC with a gamepad?
Please somebody throw me a idea here!

you can try the program joy2key

this program is able to remap your controller to anykey on keyboard or mouse

It has be a wired controller for it to work
if it is wireless you have to get an adapter like this

I have a wireless XBOX 360 controller hooked up using a Microsoft Wireless adapter. i can use my Gamepad for lots of other games like, Need for speed Undercover, Crysis, Crysis Warhead and Far Cry 2 and many others.
The problem i see right off the bat, Is when I am in COD 5 menu there is no Joystick enable option anywhere. How do I get COD 5 to even show that it can except a joystick at all?! I don't see any button to click on regarding joysticks or gamepads at all.
please can someone help me with this. I really would like to be able to play this game with my Gamepad.

xpadder emulates the keyboard with a gampad, so it doesn't matter if COD gives you gamepad options or not. You just tell your gamepad the keyboard controls.
