The Corsair is on my to-buy list but its pretty hard to beat PC Power and Cooling on price.

a lot of people have linked this cpu i don't think it should be a big problem.

E5200 is 45nm of E2xxx with extra 1mb cache. 4830 matches 9800GT=8800GT. I have E2180 and 8800GT before. It works fine. I made 13K on it.

sent you a PM about a combo.
Here are my suggestions:
$100 (B&M) - Intel® Boxed Core 2 Duo Processor E7400
$100 ($15MIR) - GIGABYTE GA-EP45-DS3L Motherboard
$40 ($20MIR) - DDR2 4GB PC6400 DUAL CRUCIAL
$210 (Using Coupon EMCABCHBH) ($25MIR) - HIS Hightech Radeon HD 4870 1GB Video Card
--------------------------------
Total: $450 Less $60MIR
--------------------------------

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

what does boxed mean on the cpu. sorry lol very new
post #29 of 42
It means that you will receive the CPU packaged, and it will have a manual and a HSF bundled with it.
Some vendors sell the CPU without any packaging or cooling devices. In this case, it will be called "OEM" or "bare".

It means it comes in a box
It's retail, not OEM. It has a nice box with a heatsink included.

*EDIT* You beat me to it
