Im currently on a dual screen setup is it possible to add another monitor into the mix with my current SLI setup? or would have to add another GPU in or disable SLI and use one gpu for the other monitor?

I know you can't with crossfire, and seeing how xfire and sli are basically the same thing, no. You would have to disable sli or get another card.

If you get an ATI 4850x2 you can have 4 monitors at the same time. And if you crossfire, you can use 2 of the ports.

not sure tbh, i know nvidia enabled sli support and dual monitor with big bang II, not sure if its good for more than 2.
if not though u could just get a 8400GS and u would be good.
they even make PCI 8400GSs now for about $50 so u wouldnt have to waste an express slot. or heres a great deal on a card
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814140105
but im not sure if any of that is needed with BBII

nope- with latest drivers (180+), you can have 4 monitors at once with SLI.

if you have tri sli, you can have up to 6.

I guess it is true that you can only have 2 monitors in SLI, and then what they are talking about is you need MORE cards for more simultaneous monitors with SLI enabled, and these cards cannot be part of SLI.

Sorry for the misinformation

okay, thanks for info, but i cant get windows to recognize the third montior when SLI is enabled. I have dual screen setup running the one card, then for the third monitor i put it in the 2nd card but windows does not pick it up in display settings.

Am i suppose to configure through nvidia control panel?
