Make sure you let me know what you think of the DacMagic, as I'm saving for one myself.

Seem kind of pointless to me though. Obviously my soundcard has a built in version as do all other comps with onboard sound. Though i do gather they of much lower quality. But for me, my titanium is spectacular especially compared to my onboard and old razer AC-1 so i guess when my time for big audio comes around i only need the amp and better cans ^_^

My Current Set-Ups:
http://www.overclock.net/5689745-post174.html

Future Plans

PC Set-Up:
Auzentech X-Fi Prelude
LittleDot MkII for my HD580's
Logitech Z Cinéma Speakers (Not great but I don't plan to use them too often.)

HT Set-Up:
Pioneer VSX-918V-K 600w 5.1 Receiver
2x Polk Audio TSi400 Floor Standing Speakers (Front)
Polk Audio TSi200 Bookshelf Speakers (Rear)
Polk Audio CS10 Center Channel Speaker (Center)
Polk Audio PSW110 Subwoofer (Sub)

I may end up going with a Denon Receiver instead of the 918. The only issue is Denon isn't carried by normal Best Buy stores so if I want to buy one I have to drive to the Bluffton, SC store and get it from their Magnolia Home Theater section. If you guys can suggest any other speaker systems sold by Best Buy/Magnolia Home Theater let me know. Also let me know if it would be worth it to drop the Pioneer and go with a Denon.

do you have to buy from BB? they have some good stuff, but nothing great. You would be much better off finding a good store that sells higher end consumer gear and low end hi-fi gear. You'll likely get a better deal, and be able to audition the gear in a better environment.

I just looked at the prices on BB's site and the total package will run about $1700. and you'll still need stands or mounts for your rear surrounds.

If you want the best deal on speakers I'd go with av123. If you have to buy in a store, then PSB or Paradigm will be better, but may cost a little more.

If you value music over movies/TV/games then I would go with the ELT525 deal from av123. You can ask about upgrading to 4 towers if you want, but you can get all the speakers for less than $900 shipped right now, add $100 for good stands. And you've got $700 left for receiver and sub.

If you value movies/games/TV over music then the Rocket 5.0 deal they've got is a great value at $1100.
http://av123.com/component/page,shop...art/Itemid,37/

Both speakers look better, have better fit/finish than the Polk speakers you chose and will sound much better.
toneaudio had a nice write-up about the ELT525 towers and gave them a value award, affordable audio gave high props to the monitors. For the $$ they simply can't be beat.

If you're buying speakers from av123 see what kind of better deal they can cut you on a HK 254 receiver
http://av123.com/component/page,shop...art/Itemid,37/

For a sub, there are lots of things you could use, but there's a couple b-stock MFW subs that will blow anything you can get at BB away... literally. Or there are lots of other choices that cost less. Check out HSU and parts express. audioholics is having a sale on velodyn subs as well.

Also, if you decide to order from av123 drop me a PM first as I may be able to give you a 10% off code.

Spend 150-600 dollars on a DAC, pair it with both high/mid end speakers/amp - and you've got sound waves that you would have never imagined you could hear as well.

Trust me dude, if you think what you have is spectacular, you've got a whole world in front of you. I too, love my setup- and i still have a world of experiences to look forward to.

Speaker setup is only about $600 for me without receiver. I work at best buy so I get a discount and we get special deals from polk and klipsch. Did you take a look at the selection that the Magnolia stores offer? They sell lots of high end stuff and I get a discount there as well.
