Delete song(s) off of iPod Touch without going into iTunes?

Okay, here's the deal.. I have a completely full 8GB iPod Touch, and my main computer isn't functional, it's waiting for WC parts in the mail, so obviously I don't have my iTunes library on my laptop. Now, I have added songs using a method (off the top of my head) switching the ipod to manual song addition or something like that and I was able to sync a few (3-4) songs that I wanted on there. I was wondering if there was any way to remove songs without reformatting the iPod, I know (or doubt) that I could delete songs from the iPod itself, but is there an option or some sort of hack/modification I could do just to remove a few songs so I could manually resync and add different ones? Or am I screwed and just have to wait for my main rig to be operational? Thanks.. lol

press start then go to control panel make sure its on clasic view then go to folder options then click the view tab and then click show hidden files and folders apply and ok

Now go browse to the ipod and there should be a hidden folder called ipod_control on there. Inside there is a folder called "music" with all your song files inside. Just drag that whole hidden folder onto your computer and it should backup all your music to the PC.

Once you've got all your music on the comptuer, move the music folder to the root directory of your C drive, then click start-> run and type "cmd".

In the command window, type "cd \\music" to get to the directory, then type "attrib -h *.* /d /s" and hit enter. That should go through and make all your music files unhidden. Once they are unhidden, you can install itunes then import the entire music folder and have your mp3's back, assuming your music collection is mostly unprotected MP3 or AAC tracks. You will probably have to reauthorize your computer with itunes in order to play the protected songs again.

Hmm, I can't find a file that says ipod_control.
If I "explore" the iPod from My Computer, it comes up as "Internal Storage" (0bytes free of 1.01kb), and in that is a file named DCIM, inside this is two files which are both empty (I'm guessing hidden), which are named "100APPLE" and "999APPLE".
I have an iPod Touch 2G if it makes a difference. :S
