$4200 won't even come close to buying that in Australia...

GTX295's score big in Vantage..... Oh wow THATS IT!

Tri SLI beats em in any game because QUAD SLI scaling in game fails hard.

I agree 100%. 2 GTX 295's are quite a bit cheaper though and perform almost as well.

-----

Power Supply: 850w

Price: $260

-----

Cooling: Swiftech H20-220 Apex Ultima Liquid Cooling Kit

Price: $425.00

-----

Montior: Samsung 24" $489

Samsung 1tb $130

-----

Corsair TR3X6G1600C8D 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3

Price: $430

Total = $3998

I came up with that list just then

If your wondering were the VGA card is, I am useing an old 8600 from an old computer. So if you can make a better comp then that, I will use yours. So basically you need to make a $4000 with no graphics card! should be the best

do you have to spend so much? i mean, considering everything and the current state of the world regarding finance, i think you should really spend less money on a system. the way it is now you're at a state where anythign more than what you get is marginal gain... and i must admit part of the fun is in upgrading - where do you go from having 2 GTX 295's?

imo, drop the watercooling, and get either 1 GTX 295 or 2 GTX 285's, get the more basic evga X58, and just go for a basic i7 920 and OC it... then you can spend the rest of that $$$ on maybe paying off debts, saving it up, or treating significant others to a holiday, something OUTSIDE computers...

unless if you're the kind of person for whom money is no issue then don't worry about what i'm saying...

The 295 is known for overheating, whereas the 285 is 55nm. Yes he is w/c but it all helps.

This build is simple:
Foxconn Bloodrage
Core i7 965 (920 if you wanna save a bit)
6GB of Corsair Dominators
3x WD AALS 640GB
3x EVGA GTX285 SSC
Corsair HX1000
Silverstone Tj-07
