MORE UPDATES. These are about 3 weeks old, figured I'd add them to the Build Log for everyone to see. I'm looking for my old thread that had all the GPU Waterblocks Block and final new Water design photo's. When I find it I'll post again. Here's my post from the Nvidia/WC section.
eVGA GTX 480 Watercooled
Danger Den Nickel+Copper Block
I recently tore down and rebuilt my water loop. Replaced the Micro Res v2 with the EK Multi-Option, changed pump location, made res to pump flow better. And also the biggest part... Added my GTX 480 into my loop
I also took out my Yate Loon medium fans. Chopped em up and made them into Shrouds, and replaced them with Scythe GT 1850's. I must say the GT 1850's are much, much quieter than the Medium Yates witch was not expected, & they push more air at a higher pressure. (Good for Radiators, CPU Coolers)
So, I'll go ahead and throw up a screeny for everyone, then a photo of the system will follow in a minute..
GTX 480 idling at 33c and Q9650 (4.0 Ghz) idling around 30-33c with a Ambient temp of 26c (78F) in the house.
Next is Load temps. Everyone knows that load temps are more important than idle. I've ran this 480 overclocked to 870/2150 and played some of the most demanding games. Crysis, BC2, JC2, Metro 2033 MAXXED! AAA, DX11 and I've still not managed to get this card past 52c once.. The highest temp I've seen is 52c LOAD! and usually in game I'm around 48-51c. I love it!
This is just a thread for everyone to enjoy some Liquid Cooled fun. As well as see how amazing the 480 is on water, and for photo's.
