Aden's i7 Build - Main Parts Ordered - Page 2

with that kind of video power, get a 30".

If you love dual monitors, get 2 24"

Never go below 24", keep the HD resolution.

I do still have a budget, it may be a lot, but not that much. I checked earlier today, and the cheapest 30" I could find was $1k.

I will probably end up with a 24" and a couple of cheap 17" or 19" screens.

With that budget, there's no reason not to go i7.

And getting SSD's would be a great investment. They seem to have gone down in price quite a bit.

Budget for the case? Silverstone makes some nice ones.

TJ07 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811163134 - Great for WC'ing.

And as for monitors - Dual 24"s ?

What would y'all say a medium to high end quiet WC setup with just a cpu block cost?
Apparently the CoolerMaster Aqua Gate Max is a good WC set up as long as you get an after market CPU block. The one that comes with it is Rubbish. The Aqua Gate Max is ~$199 and a good CPU block(Appogee GTX) is about ~$69.

I'm sorry, I should have specified that I don't want a kit. I want to buy a WC system (loop?) part by part, and was just wondering how much a medium to high end setup would cost with just a cpu block, and how much with a cpu and a gpu, but with room to expand to 2xGPU's.
Check Danger Den, they have good WC, they have a lot of option for wc, but it might go out of your budget, good luck on your build!

I'll edit into the OP saying that I will be overclocking, and I want it to be quiet.
