Car broken into last night, need new MP3 player. - Page 2

if you get an ipod you need to meet some criteria
1st you need to sell your sole to apple
2nd you need to have shed load of money
3rd you need to shell out extra money for some decent head phones
4th you need to even more money on protection so it dosent get smashed on the 2nd day you have it!
5th you need to upgrade the ram in you pc as Itunes hogs it all

by the time you have done all that you will have maxxed out your credit card LMAO!

Sorry to hear about your ride (damn nice ride too ) gettin' broken into, but like you said at least they didn't damage it or try to steal it or anything.
Yea im just really glad they didnt bust anything up trying to get into my car. The thing is my glove compartment has all kinds of things...PSP,GPS etc etc..Its my fault for leaving it there in plain daylight, but then again there are a lot of low lifes who have to live this way and for that, i feel sorry for them.

I wanted to go the Apple route, but not because i like them but because they have the biggest aftermarket support out there. But in the end i hate itunes so much ill just avoid it, period.

I recommend Creative Zen X-Fi, I love the SOB.

And the software the comes with it has not causes me any issues, and the player that I have (30GB with WiFi) plays everything I throw at it.

I hate iPod, so I'd recommend anything over iPod xD

Creative Zen X-Fi
Check out the Cowons
Check out some of the new gen Zunes.

That's my suggestion in decreasing order of recommendation xD

I agree. Mazda makes some pretty machines.

Sorry for the lack of contribution to the topic though, all I've owned are iPods and therefore cannot give a good, unbiased suggestion.

cowon is sick! IMO they are better than itouch any day. Especially if you get the one with GPS Nav on it, it can double as a touch/nav/wifi/epeen increaser

ipod - great warranty repair if anything ever goes wrong [simply walk into an apple store, and they swap it out].

zune - no as much 3 party products/connectivity

cowon - great player, awesome output, but its UI is difficult and finicky

creative - i have no qualms with their players, excellent players, customer service blows [personal experience ]

Hmmm decisions decisions. I liked that Creative Zen W 30GB that someone linked me to, but the battery life isnt too good. Now i forgot to mention that i hardly ever walk around with it and listen to music, but when in my car its on 100% of the time, so a screen that big might not be too useful, unless i use it to watch video every once in a while and Divx support is just too awesome. Man...i have some thinking to do. Thanks so much fellas!

I love my Cowon D2. The UI isn't too difficult + you can do alot of customizing with the UI. Playing flash games is awesome too. The new cowons are pretty sweet.
