[Project] Blacked Out - Page 2

Thread Starter
Kind of a lack luster build log... got to modding and was slack on pics and really wanted to pay attention as not to miss anything. But here is the finished product. Hope you don't mind the bad pics (I have horrible lighting in this room...)

Side shot with side window

Fans installed

Prepped for paint

Space made for cables

No Flash. Nothing to fancy lights wise. Have a few white lights on order.

Complete package.

Still a few more things to finish. I have sound dampening foam and lights on the way as well as a few odds and ends need to be painted. But here you are, a big update.

That window looks fantastic!

awesome job on the window. some bronze acrylic would look sick on that build. how quiet are those fans?

GREAT JOB MILLS!

I asked in the CM690 thread but where did you pick up the acrylic and how did you affix it to the hole you cut out?

Looks great, i love seeing mods to the 690, i have one also and am trying to get the balls to cut me a window, its truly a great case IMO.

How did the Acrylic wind tunnel turn out? or did you scrap that idea?

The wind tunnel is still in the makings. The first mockup had some issues with epoxy and I also decided I waned to use some thicker acrylic. Will post an update Thursday possibly on that.
