a single 4870x2 takes 286W TDP (taken from ATI's website)... that means that 2 4870x2 requires 572 watts, leaving 178W for the rest of the system... should work if there is good amps on the 12v rails, although it wouldnt leave alot of power for overclocking.. cause with overclocking, you may run into power issues...

EDIT: You need 48amps on the 12v rail, since your psu has a single 60a rail... should work perfect, again, dont go crazy over clocking, cause you may run out of electricity...

Very well then.

You'd really be pushing the boundaries. Running a PSU at or over its rated value is never a good thing.

Plus you're on 32bit XP as per your sig, that won't work out so well.. Memory limits and all.

I can't exactly answer your question, but I do know that it's best to run a system on a PSU that provides ~20% more juice that the system actually pulls. The PSUs will last longer and will run more efficiently.

With PSUs it's always best to over-compensate than to barely scrape by with the bare minimum.

If their CrossFireX(2x 4870X2) power consumption is correct then you should be good 2 go.

Quad SLI GTX295 full load = 290w? That chart is horribly inaccurate.

I doubt that, im almost sure that will require less - in many reviews i could see that it requires less than 500W (both cards)
and in Ati-amd's site was written that this cpu can handle 2 hd70x2

I really doubt that 750w will last long under that kind of load. My twin 4870's, and the system in sig draws 590w. I run a 1200w supply to be CERTAIN I have headroom for twin 4870x2's, and other devices. I would recommend a 1000w psu to futureproof your system.
