9800 GTX+ Heatsink

Thread Starter
I just got my 9800 GTX+ and cleaned it up to put AS5 and I saw some thermal tape on the memory and wondered can I put AS5 instead of the thermal paste.

I also noticed that there is some clearance between the heatsink and the card so that why I don't think I'll work.

I would highly recommend you don't use thermal paste on the memory chips...

if you don't have any thermal tape, just use the stock ones

Thermal paste is for microscope gaps. Thermal pads are for gaps. Reuse the pads.
