As long as your AV quarantined and deleted it you should fine be. Another full system scan wouldn't hurt though.

You may find it popup again. Did you boot into safe mode and delete it? I usually delete my system restore files also since trojans can get buried there. I would boot into safe mode and rescan with MBAM (from malwarebytes.org). You can also run hijack this to see if there's anything harmful on your system (but don't fix anything it finds until you post it to a board where people can tell you what is safe and what's not.)

Another question if I still have the rar files which originally contained a exe file that has the trojan but I did not compile them again should I be safe my AV nod32 didn't tell me to delete them
post #5 of 6
If its just in the rar file I highly doubt it will auto-execute (if it hasn't already) but just be careful not to open it on accident or give it to someone else.

HiJackthis is a very handy utility to "ONLY" look for such types of problems. It's capable of removing anything even what an OS don't want deleted so be careful if you use it!!!
I do not recommend it for its own ability to auto clean anything though and as I said I "ONLY" recommend it for investigating.

There are forums that cater to "HiJackthis" log files where members advise you on the "Log File" you would post.
