how do i run a game on all 3 monitors?

i saw on youtube a guy using 3 monitors for DiRT Colin Mcrae and crysis,
i thaught id plug in 3 displays and give it ago but no it dusnt want to work at all.

on my other pc i ran cod4 on 2 monitors and the cross hair was right in the middle of the 2 screens so its abit pointless so i want to try 3 screens.
im using 1 24" and 2 19" screens like the guy in the video, i need sli disabled to run all 3.

on crysis it gives me the option to run 1920x1200 resolution which is the middle screen but it wont recodnise the other screens, maybe its cause there different sizes or am i missing something reli ovious out?

if anybody has ran 3 screens for crysis n stuff please let me know how you managed it?

you need the Matrox TripleHead2go thing I think... only way to run on 3 screens

hmm i already have my monitors pluged in and running on windows desktop, i just need to find out how to run games across all 3 aparently some games you can enter a console command like "custom screen resolution: 3400x1200"

il keep reading up on it, that matrox thing might make it work but it looks like just a splitter for people with only 1 monitor input on their graphic card.

the is a software triplehead program that works and is free, give me a sec and I'll dig up my super old thread. I have personally tested it and it works, although it take some minor configuration to make it look good.

Your only choice is to get the MatroxTriplehead2go... no other way of outputting such a wide resolution with just your card...

It is a splitter, but it is so that your graphics card will think it's only on one monitor, when it's actually across all 3. At least I think that's how it works.

Pretty much.

How does TripleHead2Go work?
Your computer’s video output would normally only allow for one monitor to be connected to it. If instead of plugging in a monitor to your system’s video output you plug in a TripleHead2Go, your computer interprets this device as one triple-wide monitor, so it outputs a single extra-wide image. As you have three monitors connected to your TripleHead2Go, the TripleHead2Go takes the left third of this extra-wide image it receives from your computer and sends it to your left monitor, and sends the middle third to your central monitor and the right third to your right monitor. In this manner, TripleHead2Go effectively lets you drive three separate monitors from a single video output.
