QX6700 or X6800?

Thread Starter
I want to know a couple things here...
1) which one should I upgrade to
2) which one overclocks better
3) and what is the maximum overclock anyone has achieved with these choices, and what did you do to get it there?

why not get a q9550, the q9550 or q9650 will overclock better than both those chips

Agreed with whe3ls, they are B2 and B3 chip.

Of the 2, I'd get the QX6700 because it's quad

There are better options available for you though
A Q9550 or E8600 for example

Well, I am thinking of trading my e6600 to a bud for either a QX6700 for an additional 60$ or a X6800 for an additional $40.
