Zalman = Overpriced and cant keep up, the TRUE and Noctua are pretty expensive but they have the performance to back it up.

Zalmans are overpriced and mediocre for cooling. Get either a TRUE or a Noctua U12P

I, as many, have been running a TRUE on both AMD and Intel systems with out issue. I've also an IFX14 with twin Panaflow 120x33mm on an DFI X38/Q6600 with no issues either.

TRUE with noctua P12 fan or Noctua NH-U12P for a little cheaper.

They both are among the best 775 coolers and both have the option to go push-pull config in the future. Also, heatsinks produce absolutely no noise, the noise generated depends on the fan that you use. Noctua fans are dead silent and have amazing CFM.

For the most for your money go with the Noctua U12P, as it outperforms the xigmatek with 1 fan, and THEN it has the option to add another 120mm fan to result in 2-5 degree drop. I guess you can do a push pull config with the xigmatek, but youll have to figure out a way to keep the other fan on.

Thread Starter
Xigmatek seams very good, further reviews on the internet (thanks to hardware cannucks) show that it keeps up Noctua NH-U12P Q6600 @ 3.4GHz and it's availlible for around 30 bucks.

Although I still don't see how any of these 3 coolers will will keep up with temps bellow 70c Average at 4GHz...

I would go with the Xigmatek or the OCZ Vendetta 2.

well it will depend on your ambient temps, the fans you use, and if you lap the HS and cpu.
