Which G31 board? They have 5 boards uses G31 chipset. Anyway, here is the cpu list. Make sure you have correct version of BIOS. E5200 is F8. You may get 3.5G/3.6G out of it if you have a good cooler.

I have one that OC's to 3820mhz stable on 1.3625 in the bios, considerably less after droop. I can boot it into windows at 4ghz but hav'nt got it prime95 stable there. I believe if I was willing to pump 1.45 or so it would probably do it. Almost all e5200s have a fsb wall much lower than their big brothers. Mine won't do much more that 330-340 fsb no matter what muti I use. Not a big problem with a 12.5 muti though. I have been running 24/7 at 3600mhz 1.34vcore in the bios, about 1.312 in windows.
