overclocking help please

I have a nvidia nforce 650i sli motherboard and a intel core2 duo 2.4ghz smithfeild processor. I was wondering how to overclock my cpu in the bos?? I dont want to mess my cpu up because of lack of knowledge. Please help

Since you don't really know the basics. That's a very good guide. I had the same board you had, and that guide got me started back when I first got into this.

You need to start doing some research before attempting this. Though it's possible you could damage your hardware, it's more likely you just won't get very far with people just telling you what settings to use. There are lots of overclocking guides and tutorials out there, better to get a good base of knowledge and then ask questions if you don't understand something.

Im not computer illiterate dumb ass. I build gaming computers for a living. I know the jist of it I just wanted to know some guidlines that would help along the way. thanks for making me feel stupid again.
