from 4870 512mb to 4870x2

im currently running 9.1's for my 4870 512. and wanted to know if i purchased a 4870x2 would i have to change any drivers? I noticed there's only one section for the 4800 series cards..

i dont think so, dont quote me on it though. u gonna tri-fire? if so id suggest selling your card and getting a used 1gb 4870 and taking a small hit in price for a nice bump in performance since 512mb will bottleneck trifire 4870

It is always a good idea to reinstall drivers with any hardware changes. When you get the card leave you 4870 installed, go to your control panel and unistal the CCC, then boot into safe mode, use driver sweeper to clean out any display drivers, install the card, and install the appopriate drivers. If you don't your operating system will give you hell trust me.
