Just check to see which parts come with barbs and which don't. The micro-res I believe comes with plastic barbs which I would replace with the fat boys just to be sure they don't crack as they age.

Now you could go a lot less expensive if you decided to take out the GPU from the loop, then you could get away with an MCR320 and some low speed yate-loons which would save you like $300.
yes it is the one you put together for for... Thanks again BTW! you have given me something to work with... i was clueless before you hooked me up on what all was needed. +rep again just for helping me out so much to better understand what all is needed!

I just want to do my best to get to a stable 3.7-4.0ghz on my cpu... 4.0 is my goal but it looks like some can't get 4.0 stable even on water so that is why i am asking if all this cost would justify the performance over say a true or noctua and using the stock fan on the gpu.

But my real question would it drop load temps that much more than a noctua or true to justify the additional cost? Basically how much more should i be able to overclock the cpu with this extream watercooling list than with a noctua or a true.

When I went from an OCZ Vendetta 2 to my loop with a MCR220 on my E8400, honestly it only dropped my temps about 5*C, I'm still waiting for my 1366 bracket so I can try out on my MCR320, I really don't know much about the phII as far as temps go, but for the i7 temps are a big problem so watercooling is definitely justified. The other great thing about water cooling is that you can always upgrade bits and pieces of it at a time if you need to, and add other things into your loop.

would this be a good deal and do good for my setup and possibly future upgrades as well?
I would also purchase a new apogee gtz to go with this.

For a CPU only loop that looks good! I would think you would want either a better radiator, or separate loop for your 4870x2.
