Wall mounting my monitor?

Ok just bought an ASUS vw266h and I just recieved a vesa 100mm mount. Which is SUPPOSE to work with the asus. Its supposely wall mountable but i dont see how. Cant figure out how to get the little plate that comes with the wall mount onto the monitor itself. Heres the monitor
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824236047

It says its wallmountable i was assuming you just take off the stand and put the wall mount on?

Saw some other pictures of other vesa 100 monitors and they have little holes on the back.the asus is rounded and has no holes. It says it is wallmountable though. Im pretty confused as to if this is true/factory mistake/description mistake.

I assume all you have to do is take the stand off so you can wall mount. I am sure the instructions on the wall mount kit should tell you how.If not go to the manufactures web site and look for your product and look for your manual.

Oh man i feel like such an idiot.xD Apparently theres this big lid on top that covers the screwholes. I was messing around and asking myself why it was so flimsy....i yanked on it and it pops off revealing four screw holes. Aint my fault it came with lack of instructions though Other than that this monitors awesome!
Thanks for the reply anyways man! Thats the only downside to this monitor it comes with a HUGE instruction booklet, at first i was wondering why it was labeled "quick start guide" and as i skimmed through it i found out that its actually around 5 pages long except it comes in a bajillion different language. They never mentioned wall mount on it either.

How's your ASUS VW266H been? Any issues? Good viewing angle? I'm on the fence right now on buying 2 of these for a dual setup.

Couple problems but none really relating to the monitor itself.
viewing angles are fine in my opinion. It is a TN panel but this is only my second TN panel ever,so i cant really compare to anything.Backlight bleeding is in the normal range.

Heres the big issue on my side (or monoprices side, depends which way you look at it) I ordered this mount
http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2
It should in theory hold up my monitor i mean it does say up do 25 inches and 33lbs. The monitor weighs in about 22 lbs. My monitor is ALWAYS pointing down cause of the pivoting bearing the wallmount has and the weight of the monitor. I shoulda gotten the other mount they had, but i really wanted this one for whenever i feel like using portrait mode. So now my monitor is always pointing down i need to somehow jam the bearing so it wont move.

Therefore the viewing angle sucks (until i fix it) looking directly straight at the monitor it is awesome! Even at an acceptable angle the viewing angle is good, but once you get to a certain really and i mean really extreme angle, of course the image will not be as good.
I think it was worth the purchase, you cant beat it for the price and its an awesome buy in my book.
