Help me with my next upgrade

I have a 400$ for my next upgrade ( maybe less but im not sure right now)

i want to upgrade for a gaming PC so here what i found...

Looks good. Assume you have X58 board and DDR3 ram for i7. Antec 900 is fine but take a look at the $79 CM 690.

You would only need 3 case fans since the case comes with 1

im thinking that i would buy CPU FAN for the i7 thats why i chose a cheaper case..
and should i have to change my mother board? cuz i though the i7 was 775 socket..
and if i had to change my motherboard or i wont feel the power with it can u suggest a motherboard?
knowing that i wont buy a case if i had to change ( budget )

Hi, the i7 is LGA 1366 so need a X58 board and DDR3 ram. A E8500 and nice P45 board should be a good upgrade for you if i7 doesn't fit the budget.

you'd need to get a new motherboard and new ram if you upgraded to i7.
if you're only using it for gaming maybe you should looking into an e8400 or e8500.
a nice dual core should do you fine

can you suggest somthing?
