E7xx on UD3P OCed? Looking for numbers!

post #1 of 17
Thread Starter
Hey guys, so I just through this together and began OCing, Ive read of people over 4ghz, but not sure how. Ive been to 3.8ghz passing 3DMark06. (I know it doesnt mean it was 100% stable) But Im sure if it wasnt with a volatage bump it would be. But I wanted to see some screen shots.

Lets see those numbers!

Thanks.

Nice Flow thanks(+rep) ... Im at 3.8ghz right now... trying to get higher. Im at 507mhz FSB right now with the multi at 7.5.

Bios Setting -

Vcore = 1.3375v
MCH = 1.3v
Dram = Auto

CPU Clock Drive = 900mV
PCIe = 800mV

Any suggestions?

I posted a thread asking about MCH/CPU skew... trying to figure out how to tweak further.

lol ya that almost looks my screenshot. So did you not adjust MCH/Clock Drive Skew? I put them both at 50ps now... to see if there are any changes. And I cant seem to set the Dram voltage and stay stable, what prog can I use to see what voltage my ram is at?

And correct me if Im wrong, but there is like no difference between the e7300 and e7400 is there? I read that your chip will clock better... but why? To me they are all the same except for the multiplier.

*edit - After running the same settings, it actually scored a touch lower in 3DMark06 with MCH/CPu Clock drive both at 50ps. Does everyone use ET6? I have it installed but only been using the BIOS, seems better to me but...

my MCH/Clock Drive Skew at default, tried to change but no see any difference.. open ET6 then go to the right tab called HWMonitor, you should see your dram voltage

you right, these are about the same chip, ..just different clock and multi, also stepping, mine is M0.. well i dont think E7300 will clock better, that will be different each chip. man i've seen many users having trouble running 3.6 - 3.8 below 1.36v, i just consider myself lucky
