Video Card Death or Virus?

is this a sign of video card death or plainly i got a virus since its running at 51% although im just running firefox and also my comp got a little laggy... and i think if its just a video card problem, it doesnt slow the computer down...

i'll try to change drivers... hopefully it gets fixed... i dont really want to reformat and also i dont think my video card is damage since i dont get any artifacts while playing all the games im playing...

this is a windows redraw problem. it happens most when CPU usage is high and programs dont have enough time to properly redraw themselves. does it screw up on games or only in windows?

run sfc to check your system files for corruption, run antivirus/antispy and run check disk.

EDIT i notice you said you dont have problems in games, i'd run SFC first and foremost. could be system file corruption. i think the graphics card has little to do with redraw so the problem must be in your system files or a virus like you say.

whats SFC?... screws up only in windows.. and have ran nod32 and got no virus detected... i didn't get these errors when i was still using xp tho..

Kindly re-install your video driver and install it again and then try it...
