The best Mobo chipset for Intel Q9300?

Thread Starter
I have a brand new Gigabyte Mobo X38-DQ6 that I was planning on installing a Intel Q6600 on. I found the Intel Q9300 for the same price ($170) and bought it. Since the purchase of the Q9300 I have heard whispers that the Q9300 runs much better and OVERCLOCKS better on the P45 Chipset Mobo than on a X38.I am staying with DDR2 memory. Anyone have any experience with and or opinions on this? Will spend up to $300.00 for New Mobo.

Overall, P45 does overclock a tad better. Don't worry about it, as you'll need to overclock a crazy 5.00ghz to feel the difference.
Look at the Gigabyte UD3P as it can do crossfire, and it's the best in it's class as far as overclocking. It's also pretty cheap
