Antec 1200 Build Almost Complete

post #1 of 19
Thread Starter
Hi folks

After a long preparation, I am proud to announce that my first liquid build is almost finished. The components I used:
- TFC 240 (in the front)
- 2 TFC shrouds for push side (I wanted to use two TFC shrouds on the pull side aswell, but due to a lack of space I left them out. If you're interested, PM!)
- Medium YL fans
- Apogee GTZ
- Swifty MCW60
- Swifty MCR120 (in the back)
- Swifty 355 with XSPC top

Attached you can find some pics. The loop order is:
XSPC/DDC -> TFC240 -> GTZ -> MCR120 -> MCW60 -> XSPC/DDC

One small question: when I initially leak tested my setup outside the case, I used plain distilled water. Now I added some Feser View and 2 drops of PT nuke to the distilled water and I have some foam in the reservoir. Will this eventually go away?

Thanks a lot for all your support because I wouldn't have been able to do it without all your help!

How did you attach the rad? Did you use those aluminum elbows or what?

No after all that wasn't necesarry. The TFC RAD is resting on the ground (I drilled a hole in the bottom of the case for the small screw to drain the RAD) and it's mounted on the shroud which is mounted to the front two intake bays. I'll make a picture of it if you are interested.

Woah That is one fine lookin' rig you've got there Miquel. Very clean lookin' also I like that rez type top on the pump. I don't exactly know what "Feser View" is (I just use blue Penosin, PT Nuke and good ole' QFC distilled water) I've never had a foaming problem using PT Nuke. It probably just means more time getting the loop free of air. You know, the ole' shake, rattle and roll gently of the case

Yah I had the foaming issue with Feser View. Mine went away after running for a night. You can also fill the res more so that the water from the top isn't splashing inside.
