P5K PREMIUM P35 Sata connection Problem

I recived my gtx295 to day, I ran into a problem that the Sata ports are in the way, now I managed to get them to fit using a right angled connector, however both Dvd drive and Blu-Ray do not show up in bios.

I have tried both in another port (removed hdd), and they both are detected. Is there a solution to this problem?

Did you put them in the off colored connectors? There should be 4 of one color and 2 of another. Anything in the 2 off color slots won't be bootable.

A bit werid in P5K BIOS. Hope I remembered correctly, SATA 1/2/5/6-red for boot disk and others goes to 3/4 black.

No they were not in the two black connectors. In the end I had to do a complete rebuild, cleared the CMOS and worked. I dont know what was going on, but thanks for the quick advice.
