msi 1651 windows problems

Thread Starter
Hey guys just got my msi 1651 barebone today. I have a 250gb sata hdd, 3 gb gskill and a t5750 proc. I installed everything and it booted into the bios with out a problem. Then I put my vista 32 disc it and it loaded the files fine and went through these steps.

1. copied files
2. expanded them
3. installed features
4. updated features

then it rebooted and when to the finalizing installation and hung there for an hour and won't finish. I rebooted the computer and its goes to loading vista from the hard drive but stays at the loading bar. I tried reloading vista with the same problem. I also tried a backup copy of vista that I have with the same problem. the disc is fine, no scratches and I just used it on a computer.

I also no i can't be the proc or ram because it wouldn't have loaded that far with it being those guys.

any ideas to fixing it? I was thinking of putting the hard drive in my desktop and installing vista and then putting it back into the laptop.

I would think so also? Is your Vista retail or OEM? Could that be the issue.

Oh and rocker I was incorrect about CPU compatibility. Sorry.
