So is it that its not making a good connection. Every Review of this cooler is above average. I'm not expecting magic, but I want to know why the temps are so high. Is there a difference in numbers I'm not noticing? Doesn't Real temp register temp from under the HS? Should I only be concerned about heat on top the HS? Seeing as how I cant truly effect heat underneath. I love this build. Its strong very quick and fun to play on. I just need the stability to be more reliable. So If anyone has ANY suggestions, let me know. Im not apposed to removing the cooler and reinstalling it, but would like to know all information prior.

reseat your heat sink, make sure the fan is directed into the right position etc. those are very high temps for a low overclock and relatively low vcore etc...

I checked it out. For some horrible reason its 100 degrees F. I'm not sure as to why. It kills me. I have good fans all thru out the system, Fans running in a good air flow... from front to rear. Any suggestions would be great.

You should not need your VCore that high to reach 3.5ghz on the 175x20... I have my i7 920's vcore all the way down to 1.8 and that's the FSB/Multiplier ratio I hit with stability, I want to get it up to 4ghz but I can't seem to figure out properly so I figured that running it cooler/undervolted and still at 3.5 would be good for now.

Go back into realtemp, or whatever program you are using
and verify your temps are in ferenheite, you're comuter temps should not be in ferenheite, they should be in celcius. If they are in ferenheit, they you have a awsome temp of about 38 degrees. My cpu, runs load at 38 c so i wouldnt be suprised, but you need to verify. 100 degrees c. is a VERY high temp, and that can do damage. But 100 degrees F is very low, so you just need to check and make sure you know which system its being reported in and let us know.

Shouldnt be, some aftermarket coolers do a bad job, but his is decent enuf to keep temps stable, i think this is a case of mistaken identity.

I just got done rebuilding my case. I bought a dremel and had a little fun. Also I reseated the CPU cooler with a new layer of thermal paste (being sure to clean the old stuff off). Its seeming to do well at the moment, I have already noticed a substantial drop in temp.

dude im at 1.475 vcore and im at 4.020
191bclkx21 with turbomode on my ICH is 1.1 and VTT@+225
my Mem ratio is 2/10 Dimm@1.65

bump your Vcore to 1.35 and see what BSOD code you get!
