OS Upgrade Question.

Thread Starter
I currently have Windows XP Pro 32bit installed.
And I'm buying a Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit Upgrade DVD.
Will I be able to install it?
Some people are saying that you can't clean install with an Upgrade Dvd.

What I understand is that you do can make a clean install using an upgrade media.

The way you do it is boot from the CD, instead of insert it while running. It may ask if you want a clean install or an upgrade. It will ask for the XP media to be inserted as a "proof" that you are upgrading.

Didn't do it with Vista's HP x64, but it should be the same
