mY RVT 2995 Fell off!!

Thread Starter
Ok so i was trying to unplug 1 of the power connectors to my CPU and my heatsink poped out, Now I had enough time to put it back on before it was a total disaster. Yet now, my temps are way low. Before 49 - 60 idle to load now its like 39 - 55 idle to load.
Eh!?

So it fell off, and you reseated it correctly this time. Consider it a blessing.

Also, you said you were trying to unplug a power connection to the CPU, and it fell out (before it was a disaster) which implies that the computer was on? Unplugging a CPU power cable while the computer is on?

Yeah, why'd you try to unplug the power cable, or do anything at all, with the pc on?

...and that's why I never use pushpins. Not only was it seated badly but it also fell off.

But at least it fell off for the better, it told you it was seated badly
