your close, your good till 70c you may be able to get to 3ghz. also if you get a 65nm c2q stock heatsink if you dont want to spend much, they are pretty good.

When I save up I was thinking of getting a thermaltake. So far my temps are 55 the highest at 2.8. You think I should be good

your should be good. which thermaltake heatsink are you getting i would recommend getting a XIGMATEK HDT-RS1283

I'm with this guy. The thermaltake I put on was just an old one I had laying around. It's a 3 pin so its speed is manually adjusted. Get the 1283 for the 4 pin connector so you can adjust speed through speed fan or some other application controlled tool.

I should note though that the V1 is pretty damn good. Those temps I've got are with the cooler all the way on low and it's sitting in an antec three hundred case with the two fans also on low.

Cooling wise, yeah you'll not see much difference. Price wise, it's pretty nifty.

It's pretty much the same cooler as my OCZ Vendetta 2, just rebranded. From experience I'll tell you it's an amazing value.
