Might be going Intel

Thread Starter
Hey guys, I've pretty much been an AMD owner (always on a budget) for the past few years (except for my laptop) and was thinking to try out Intel. I'm thinking of giving some of the parts of my rig for an office backup and if I decide to do that, I'm going to be giving away my motherboard, processor, and the cooler (keeping everything else) and was wondering if you guys could recommend me a motherboard, processor, and an alright cooler. My price max for those three things are around 300$. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
(BTW: I do plan on overclocking as much as I can so when I meant alright cooler, I meant something that can handle overclocking)

Alright here ya go, if you could go $50 higher you could get an E8400 instead of the E7400.

Good budget build items. You also could get an open box ud3p for around $35 usd cheaper if you desire.

Dam that was fast people! + rep to all. I like the S1283 cooler, I guess I'll stick with that, and I also like the motherboards you guys picked the (EP45-UD3P). But the processor, I dont know which one to choose.

You really should go for the E8400 if you can afford it.

Hm... the 8400 is like 165......190+165=355... I don't know yet but I'll think about it. Sounds great but don't know if my budget can stretch any.
