[BBC]Hackers target Xbox Live players

Thread Starter
Sounds dangerous..

Quote:
Xbox Live is being targeted by malicious hackers selling services that kick players off the network.

The booting services are proving popular with players who want a way to get revenge on those who beat them in an Xbox Live game.

The attackers are employing data flooding tools that have been used against websites for many years.

Microsoft is "investigating" the use of the tools and said those caught using them would be banned from Xbox Live.

"There's been a definite increase in the amount of people talking about and distributing these things over the last three to four weeks," said Chris Boyd, director of malware research at Facetime Communications.

People that get so aggravated at losing that they have to use cheats and hacks to get "revenge" are lame, need to be kicked off of Live, and then go crawl into a corner somewhere and die. We don't need dregs like this polluting the world's gene pool.

Man up, losers. If you lose, practice and get better. That's how you get revenge. If you don't like competition, and the eventual losing that comes with it, then don't compete.

Seem like all these people who play on XBL need to get a life. It's just a game. It's nothing to take revenge or run away from home about.

Nothing new, I've been dealing with things like this in PC Gaming for years. However, I don't have to pay to use my PC's online services....

Regardless of the platform, I agree with the person who said we do not need lowlife's like this polluting the worlds gene pool. There needs to be some sort of e-natural selection...

good luck to all you Xbox Livers out there.
